Visa & Embassies
As of the current regulations, citizens of the Russian Federation are eligible to enter Myanmar without a visa for a period of up to 30 days, under the mutual visa exemption agreement between the two countries.

Transportation
Myanmar’s transportation network comprises a combination of road, rail, air systems, though infrastructure development varies across regions. The quality and availability of services can differ significantly between urban centers and rural areas.

Insurance & Health Care
Special vaccinations are not required to visit Myanmar. Nevertheless, it is necessary to follow the basic rules of hygiene and safety measures, wash purchased vegetables and fruits, wash hands, etc. To avoid sun and heat strokes, it is recommended to wear a hat or use an umbrella at all times and use sunscreen.

Electricity & Telecom
220-240 volt. Sockets generally comply with one of two European standards. It is recommended to have a universal adapter; however, many hotels provide travelers with adapters for free. The country’s electricity supply system operates irregularly. Electricity supply, even in large cities such as Yangon or Mandalay, is on schedule.
